Bump Steer Kit

The Unbalanced Engineering bump steer kit is designed to reduce bump steer for the Nissan Sentra and NX. This will make the car easier to drive by providing less kick back through the steering wheel when bumps are encounted. In addition, the kit will significantly reduce tire wear by reducing the amount of toe change and therefore scrub that the front tires are subjected to each lap.

The kit replaces the stock ball joint with a 5/8" rod end. An CNC turned 4340 chromoly adaptor is included to allow the 5/8" rod end to mount to the stock Nissan tie rod. Also included are all required mounting hardware and spacers to adjust bump steer to your car's ride height.

Bump Steer Kit without machining

The kit does require machining of the stock upright for attachment of the 5/8" rod end. There are three options for obtaining the bump steer kit. The first contains all the hardware required but does NOT include machined uprights. Cost per pair $95.

Bump Steer Kit with upright machinging

The second option contains all the hardware required and DOES include machined uprights. We will machine your uprights and will contact you with shipping info after your order is placed. Cost per pair $145.

Bump Steer Kit with upright machinging and new wheelbearings

The third option contains all the hardware required and DOES include machined uprights. This option also includes new Nissan wheel bearings and seals. There is a $50 core charge for the uprights that will be refunded when we recieve your stock uprights. This option is currently not available. Cost per pair $255.
